BELONIA, June 5 (TIWN): At least 3 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters were injured in a clash in South Tripura district on Friday.Afterwards the incident, BJP organised demonstrations and protest rallies in Belonia in South Tripura and Agartala on late Thursday night immediately after the incident.

 The party also held demonstrations across the State on Friday. So far Police was inactive in the hand of Manik Sarkar and though BJP supporters demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the attack on party leader Subal Bhowmik and workers in Belonia.

In the name of investigation South Tripura police Chief Bhanupada Chakraborty allegedly slowed down the investigation process after Melarmath Party leaders instruction.
