AGARTLA, June 3 (TIWN): Protesting against the CPI-M ‘Cadre-Raj’ prevails in state BJP is going to organize mass rallies in various subdivisions of Tripura, State BJP President told media in a press meet on Friday.
BJP President Bipalb Deb & Vice President Subal Bhowmik jointly held a press meet at BJP office and announced about BJP’s ‘democratic movement’ to be started following an incident where BJP supporters were attacked by CPI-M cadres, in a market place at South Tripura during BJP campaigning.
BJP Vice President Subal Bhowmik said that BJP was celebrating 2 years of Modi Govt.’s governance at centre, where 7 families joined BJP from CPI-M at Amzadnagar, Hrishyamukh Indo-Bangla area on Thursday evening.
But suddenly, so many cadres in a planned way with sharp weapons had attacked upon Subal Bhowmik and to save Subal Bhowmik the BJP members were brutally beaten by CPI-M cadres.
Two BJP members Subhash Bhowmik, Dibyendu Das, who are admitted in GB hospital are in serious condition.
BJP claims this incident as a ‘Planned-Work’ by CPI-M at South Tripura. An FIR has been lodged at Belania police Station -1. Bhanu Dhar, 2. Nabi Mia, 3. Chabbar Mia.
BJP to hold a meeting with South SP Bhanupada Chakraborty on Friday.
