AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN): Moderate rainfall in the city and its suburbs districts since Thursday evening brought a sigh of relief from high temperature in the city.
Rain brings a sigh of relief from the scorching summer on Friday morning with moderate shower. High humidity levels made the sweltering heat unbearable for people over past few days. Rain brought sigh of relief for the common people in the state. Though the downpour was accompanied with gusty winds damaging properties, it brought smiles on the face of the common people.
The sudden rain along with wind since Sunday evening brought much relief from the scorching temperature. During last couple of days, heat waves had affected the livelihood of the common people in the state.
But after the rain, brought delight to the residents, who were reeling under sweltering heat. The day temperature that was around 37 degree came down after the rain. According to MET Department the sky will remain cloudy and frequent rainfall will also occur.
After a scorching day in summer the sudden splash of rain has brought a sigh of relief to the common people. Few splash of rain has come in disguise for the common people on Friday evening after the scorching heat.
The meteorological department on Friday once again has forecasted for squally wind to hit Tripura in next 24 hours with heavy to very heavy rainfall and thunder-showers in isolated part of the state.
Incessant rainfall to hit Tripura soon along with hailstorm. Metrological forecast also indicated that heavy rain will continue in isolated part of the state along with heavy blow of wind for the next 24hours.
