BELONIA, May 2 (TIWN): Seasonal cyclonic rains and thunder storms disrupted power supply and transport movement besides damaging a large number of houses ,school building in South Tripura.

It is to be mentioned here that at least 10 people were seriously injured in different parts of Tripura due to lightning, accompanied by heavy rains. 

"The storms accompanied by rains completely damaged over 50 houses”, said an official with the disaster management unit South Tripura.
