Sabroom, Feb 21 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar continue to remain absent from Sabroom election rallies .Though CM was supposed tour to Sabroom to address an election campaign rally of Village Committee poll.

The rally was attended by MP Jiten and Agriculture Minister Aghor Debbarma  was organized at ITI ground of Manu Bankul.

It is mentionable that election of village committee will be held at 36 Village Committees under Manu constituency. Source said that the main contest would be held between CPI-M and IPFT although candidates of Congress, BJP, CPI-M and IPFT are in the battle.

On the other hand CPI-M is conducting ideological campaign against IPFT so that tribal vote bank does not hamper.

In this context the visit of Chief Minster for poll campaign is very important. But he was less interested to Join MP Jiten’s home constituency.
