KAILASHAHAR, Feb 18 (TIWN): When the case of scamster BDO Bimal Chakraborty is yet unsolved, another allegation has been raised against the Gournagar block BDO under Kailashahar Sub-Division after she has sent a requisition letter for chemical fertilisers.
According to the official sources, Gournagar Block BDO Sumitra Debnath on the first week of the February has sent a requisition letter for chemical fertilizer of Rs. 2.26 lakh for the production of estimated pine apple of around Rs. 1 Lakh.
It is to be mentioned here that the fertilizers has been asked for the production of pine apple at three panchayat and three village committee.
It has been mentioned that earlier the private farms were also asked for the supply of the fertilizers when they have denied to accept it, the BDO of Gournagar Block sent a requisition letter to the Agricultural Department.
Now the question arises, for an estimated production of Rs. 1 lakh pine apple in the area why chemical fertilizers of Rs. 2.26 lakh is required.
It is to be mentioned here that though several initiatives has been taken against the scamster BDO Bimal Chakraborty, negligence in investigation letting the scamster to roam free.
Despite of passage of several months of scam came into limelight the main accused BDO Bimal Chakraborty is yet roaming free and police is reluctant to take any action.
It is to be mentioned here that a PIL was filed against the Bishalgarh MGNREGA scam where FIR was lodged by Bishalgarh Block Development Officer (BDO) against 12 officials including former BDO of the block Bimal Chakraborty.
But till day the case is delaying due to the negligence of the concern authority dealing with the case.
However, where the scamster BDO Bimal Chakraborty is yet roaming free, another scam is expected to hit the Gournagar block.
