Agartala, Sep16, (TIWN) Based on a secret information security personnel detained a youth along with fire arms from Khowai district today.

Detainee has been identified as James Debbarma, a resident of Mainamacherra. He was arrested from Nripenpara area under Khowai PS this afternoon.

 Later, on search, a pistol was recovered from his possession. It is suspected that detainee might be an over ground agent of banned extremist group NLFT. However, registering a case under Arms Act, police personnel of Khowai PS are questioning him.
