KHOWAI, Feb 13 (TIWN) : State Tripura which is presently suffering from huge power crisis, but rampant use of hook lines has hit the whole state.

Reportedly, in almost all the pandals of Khowai, which were made for Saraswati Puja are allegedly using hook lines. From music system to lighting every electronic items using in the puja were given power through hook lines.

Power house of Kalyanpur during Saturday didn’t pick up any call, which is another sign of negligence of govt. officials.

Although a small state, but power dept. is unable to tackle the increasing power theft in Tripura, especially in rural areas. Allegations also had come against a govt. school for using hook lines since a long time; but nobody to observe all these. The school has been identified as Gayamfung High School at Kalyanpur, under Khowai Dist., where a construction work is going on under RMSA project.

 However apart from power theft by public, the over all scenario of Saraswati Puja is full of celebration. People gathered in every pandals to have a look of the idol of Devi Sarswati.

The craze was more among the school & college students. No unwanted event has been come so far from Khowai.
