KAILASHAHAR, Feb 12 (TIWN) : To avoid the hefty traffic jam, Kailshahar’s 3 main roads have been announced as one way lane line. This has been announced through a press conference held by Vice Chairperson Mnaish Saha on Thursday.

The meeting was held at Kailashahar Municipal Corporation’s office.

O/C Kalilashahar Subrata Chakraborty was also present during the press meet. The shop keepers from the sheds of Kailashahar town have been replaced from that place to Hawlkers Corner.

It has been announced that

1. The vehicles coming from Paitur Bazar will go court, MDM office will gonby PWD road.
2. The vehicles which will go to Srirampur, will go by kagil chowmuhani via Govindapur.
3. From SDM office chowmnuhani to Netaji corner the vehicles will go via the road infront of the police station.

However, in case of the students of schools and colleges this restriction will not be imposed for their facility.

It’s to be mentioned here that although the raod has been announced as one-way, but the ondition fo the road is so pathetic that unless and until they are bringing into better shahpes the accidents would not be omitted.

So the maintenance of the road is very much necessary if Municipal corporation really wants a better traffic movement at Kailashahar.

Another problem which is to be solved is to increase the number of traffic police in kailashahar. Because this town frequently suffers from shortage of traffic police.
