AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Altogether 121 stalls are expected to set up in the 34th Agartala Book Fair scheduled to be organized on February 14 at Umakanta Academy.
Addressing at the Press Conference, Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Bhanulal Saha stated that Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is going to inaugurate the inaugural programme of Agartala Book Fair.
Besides, he also mentioned that altogether 121 stalls are expected to set up at the fair.
Detailing about the number of stalls it has been mentioned that a total of 73 stalls are expected to be set up from Tripura, Kolkata 36, Guwahati six, New Delhi three and one each from Bangladesh and Kerela.
Besides, it has mentioned that the fair will begin at 2pm in the after and will continue till 8:30 pm in the evening. Besides, during the holidays the fair will continue till 9 pm in the night.
According to the official report, the 34th Agartala Book Fair is expected to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar in the presence of Information and Cultural Affair Minister Bhanulal Saha, Eminent Artist of Bangladesh Hashem Khan, Special Secretary of Information and Cultural Affair Department Soumitra Bandopadhyay and others.
To meet the deadline the workers are continuing their works of setting up stalls is full-fledged manner. Workers are enthusiastically participating at the preparation of stalls for the upcoming book fair.
Speaking at the press conference, it has been mentioned that altogether eight awards will be given and three big screens will be set up where history of books will be displayed.
