KALYANPUR, Feb 8 (TIWN) : In yet another shock not a single nomination paper has been submitted by Cong.at Kalyanpur. Among 7 villages’, 51 seats there have been found not any single candidate at Kalyanpur. As a result resentment has been brewed up among the local people of Kalyanpur.

However, not only at Kalyanpur, but in the whole Khowai Dist. Cong. is inactive.

Cong. here in Tripura is getting ideal day after day and when it comes to the Municipal and ADC elections this opposition party becomes fully inactive. Due to Cong.’s inactive participation in Village elections, in Tripura till day Cong. could not make any place.

Although tall claims are made during speeches at by various Cong. leaders, but at the ground level Cong. has failed to perform. It seems that the political party namely Cong. is just for name-sake in town areas, where as they have no interest in village areas, neither they have any desire to come in power.

Already CPM has own the election’s one fourth part as opposition parties couldn’t submit nomination paper. Allegations also coming that members of Cong. at khowai are leaving this pol. party and joining other parties. As a result Cong. is getting lost from those areas and this VC election is a proof for it, where among 51 seats Cong. submitted not a single nomination paper.

On the other hand IPFT is getting more active at Kalyanpur. Allegations are coming that Cong. have shaken hands with IPFT already there.
