SANTIRBAZAR, Feb 8 (TIWN) : Many Questions are raising over the poor work against NBCC at Gardhang Panchayat area under Santirbazar Sub Division of South District. People are angry over the poor quality work by NBCC. Sources said that Gardhan Road way (4.5 Km road from Purnajoy Para to Aswini Para ) was full of stone chips and the road created more suffering to the people while walking. About 5000 people of 1000 family are living in the area. This is the only way to come from Belonia to Santirbazar. The distance of both the subdivisions is 10 Km from. People of both the subdivision have to rush through the road every day.

The poor villagers alleged that the contract of the road was given to NBCC centrally.

Instead of doing the work NBCC provided the work in sub-contract to the ruling party cadres and Ruling party cadres siphoned the fund by tainted construction work in IAY and PMGSY project.

NBCC Sub contractor and Gardhan Panchayat Pradhan were directly involved in looting money in the name of construction work resulting a degraded roadway.
