KALYANPUR, Feb 5 (TIWN) : On the last day of submitting nomination papers for ADC Village Committee election, political parties have finished that process on due time.

Feb 5 was set as the deadline of submitting nomination papers.

On Friday it was INPT & TSP who submitted their nomination papers at Kalyanpur, under Khowai.

However, among the 7 villages, INPT has submitted for 3 villages, whereas TSP has submitted for 1 village.

Reportedly, INPT has submitted for R S Para Village, Rupai Village & Nakshirai village. TSP’s only candidate has submitted nomination paper for Nakshirai Village.

The general observer of Kalyanpur block Tapas Roy has visited Kalyanpur on Friday.  SDM Bimbisar Bhattacharjee has confirmed for tight security of kalyanpur.

The election schedule has been set as :

1. Last date for making nomination : 5th February, 2016
2.  Date for scrutiny nomination : 6th Febuary, 2016
3.  Last date of withdrawal of candidature : 8th February, 2016
4. Date on which poll shall be taken : 24th February, 2016
5. Time of Nomination to be filled : From 11 am to 3 pm
6. Date for commencement counting of votes : 27nd February, 2016
7. Date before which election to be completed : 7th March, 2016

At Khowai 69 Nos of VC, 155 Polling Stations have been set.
