KAILASHAHAR, Dec 23 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, a 68-year old man died after he met an accident at Kubjar under Kailashahar Subdivision on Wednesday.
Reportedly, the auto in which the 68-year old man was riding was coming from Tilla bazaar and it was on its way to Bhagawan Nagar.
The incident took place when the auto driver was give way to another Maruti vehicle. The auto driver managed to flee from the spot.
However, allegation has been raised that as the road has been in poor condition for prolonged many days, the auto got tilted and the incident happened the passengers were injured.
After the incident, 68-year old Taiyab Ali a residence of Bhaganban Bari got seriously injured and has been taken to Kailashahar Hospital. When he was taken to the hospital the doctors of the Kailashahar Hospital declared him dead.
It has been reported that deceased Taiyab Ali was former head clerk of PWD and a former member of Gournagar Panchayat Samiti.
Along with the deceased there were three more passengers who were also injured and the driver managed to flee from the spot.
Getting alarm about the incident, Kailashahar Police along with other officials rushed to the spot and investigated the incident. The police seized the auto and kept it in the Kailashahar Police Station.
However, the locals alleged that for prolonged many days the road was in deplorable condition but no initiatives have been taken to renovate the road.
Day by day the road accidents are increasing in an alarming rate risking the life of the common people. The accident occurs either with the negligence of the common people or due to the poor condition of the road claims the locals.
However, the locals urged the concern authority to renovate the road as soon as possible so that no one else has to give life for the poor condition of the road.
