AGARTALA, Dec 21 (TIWN): Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) organized a mega loan camp following its 40th anniversary, held at Mukta Dhara auditorium in Agartala On Monday.
Minister Tapan Chakraborty was present as the Chief Guest of this event. Other dignitaries as TGB’s Chairman Upendra Sahar, NABARD Tripura Region’s GM Rajat Kanti Debbarman, Assistant GM of UBI (Agartala Branch) Pintu Das Gupta remained present during the programme.
It's to be mentioned here in these 39 years, TGB had achieved a lot. In the first year the total turnover of TGB was only Rs.1,32,000 and this year TGB’s total turnover is around Rs.6,200 crores. Its shows the growth of TGB from its first day.
At first TGB had only 4 branches all over the state and right now TGB have 140 braches, 12 USBs all over the state.
The mass gathering of at Mukta Dhara was noticable and also there were retired employees of TGB, Brach Managers of TGB from all over the state.
