Agartala, Sept 14 (TIWN): In view of the increased infiltration of miscreants and anti-social activities in different parts of the Belonia Border area under south district of the state DM South imposed section 144 along the Indo-Bangla border at Belonia Sub Division from today.
Section 144 had been made into effect from Sept 14 and it will be valid upto 12 th Dec 2015 . Villages within 300 meters along the border area will be covered under this.
In a notice DM South ordered that from 10 PM to 5 AM gathering of more than 4 people with in the restricted areas without prior permission of the concerned authority is not allowed.
And during this period the common mass have also been restricted from making free movement along the border area without permission.
However, the police, security forces and the employees under the state govt living or posted within 300 meters along the international border have been kept out of such restriction.
SP South further said that already the police, TSR and BSF are on high alert.
