AGARTALA, September 13 (TIWN): Tripura Rehabilitation Plantation on Corporation Employees Association on Sunday organized a State Level conference at Sishubihar School.
During the conference the members have demanded to terminate the Indo-Asian Agreement which has been hampering the market rates of the local rubber resulting great loss for the local farmers. Besides, to cancel the Land Acquisition Bill which would hurt the farmers' interests.
They further demanded to decrease the rate of the petrol and diesel. The construction work of the Broad Gauge to Agartala should be completed immediately. Besides, they demanded to assure quick renovation of the National Highways of the state.
Besides, a fruitful initiative must be taken to curb the increasing rates of the commodities in the state.
Raising voice for the TRPC employees, they demanded that all the employees of the TRPC should be provided pension like the equity of the employees of the State Government.
They further demanded to terminate a total of RS. 6 crore of tax given by the Sales Tax Department.
