KAMALPUR, June 18 (TIWN): In the ensuing bye-election of Surma assembly constituency here at Kamalpur every contesting parties leaving no stone unturned to form the mass mandate in favor of them.
Meetings, rallies, mass meetings are being organized by all the contesting national parties. Congress candidate Nagendra Biswas, CPIM candidate Anjan Das and BJP candidate Asis Das all expressed their hope to grab win. The party leaders are also toiling hard with the same motto. But the actual political scenario here brings out a different story.
In the long left-ruled state, there lies hardly any scope for the opposition to become victorious in any bye-election.
Furthermore, in last two years, the shattered condition of Congress in national as well as local political arena diverted people of the state first Mamata’s TMC and then to Modi’s BJP. As a result, the opposition vote bank gets divided virtually into many camps. In this context, the unbeaten fort of CPIM is sure to grab a more comprehensive win in the ensuing bye-election.
Hence, Anjan Das, the CPIM candidate is very much sure to grab win. Still, the contesting parties are combating enthusiastically and it may be cited as the truest nature of Indian Democracy-preserved and boosted by her people for so long a period.
