AGARTALA, June 6 (TIWN):The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday declared the names of the candidates.

Bharatiya Janata Party nominated the name of Ashish Das to stand for 46-Surma Constituency and for 13-Pratapgarh Constituency the party has nominated the name of Moushumi Das.

Detailing about the candidates it has been said that Ashish Das qualified with Honours in Education and along with B. Ed, whereas regarding Moushumi Das, she said earlier she was the secretary of Pradesh Congress Committee but in the year 2015 she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Interestingly, this year the party has chosen qualified candidate with an aim to better the tough in the area. In this era of 2015- the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is enthusiastic about their victory in the upcoming by election. With an aim to work for the betterment for the society, they will fight the election with full dedication, said BJP President Sudindra Dasgupta.

Further, it has been stated that as per the Election Commission of India the counting of votes would be held on June 30. Later, the Scrutiny of the nomination papers would be on June 11. The ECI on its notification declared that the polling for by­-elections in the mentioned state would start from 8:00 AM and would continue till 5:00 PM.
