KHOWAI, May 25 (TIWN): Aiming to aware the people to avoid any kind of financial deal with Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC), a workshop was organized with the initiatives of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) at Khowai Town Hall on Monday.
During the program, while addressing the crowd General Manager of RBI, Agartala branch N. P Topno said that people must avoid making any kind of financial deal with the Non-Banking Financial Company as they are not authorised under any national bank. Further, the RBI is not going to accept any kind of blame, if an individual face any kind of problem in getting money on time or any other related issues.
Enhancing the schemes of the authorised bank, General Manager of State Cooperative Bank Amrit Bhattacharjee said that the banks deal with two type of insurance schemes; one for the consumers below 60year and another is for the consumers who are of above 60years of age.
They also said that this workshop has been conducted mainly to alert the people about the NBFC and also included that safety and security of money is upon individual’s interest. Sometime, the temptation of money paralyses the thinking of the consumers which leads them to deal with the NBFC.
