AGARTALA, 24 May (TIWN): A day long state convention on behalf of North East MGNREGA Employees Association was organized by Tripura REGA Karmochari Samannoy Samiti (TRKSS) on Sunday at Rabindra Bhawan. The convention was attended by the representatives from all the states of the North East except Sikkim.

It is learnt from the convention that from the month of July, the entire program, scheduled by the organization will be implemented.

The convention mainly discussed about the work progress of the association with all together targeting 1000 employees. Representatives from 58 blocks of the state participated in the convention.

However, General Secretary of Assam for North east MGNREGA employees Association Kokil Baruah, President of Tripura REGA Karmochari Samannoy Samiti (TRKSS) Joydeep Kar along with other dignitaries remains present in the program.
