AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): Indian Association of Physiotherapist, Tripura Branch, has organized a fund raising rally on Sunday morning in association with TIPS (Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences).
The rally is organized to raise fund for the victims of Nepal who were jolted in a massive earthquake of 7.5 magnitude, in which more than hundreds of people lost their lives.
However, Sabhyasachi Chowdhury, state Convener, IAP (Indian Association of Physiotherapist), Tripura Branch, said that, the raised fund will be handed over to Chief Minister Relief fund on Monday.
He further said that the main aim of organizing this rally is to stand beside the people of the Nepal, who were severely affected by the earthquake in which many people died and many are left critically injured.
While addressing the media he also said that, the team has also raised a fund of Rs. 2000 from the premises of Tripura University which they will also handover to the Chief Minister Relief Fund.
