BELONIA, May 24 (TIWN): Belonia Police on Saturday recovered a dead body of 28 years old man from a deep jungle at Belonia Motai Shoshankhala. The deceased was identified as Sushankar Majumder, resident of Motai Bhumihin Colony. He was a farmer by profession.

He was missing since May 22 but on Saturday his dead body was found lying on a deep jungle some 1 km away from his resident. However later deceased’s elder brother Shankar Majumder lodged a complaint with the PS. Several injury mark was also found on his body.

Getting an alarm Belonia PS Superintendent of Police (SP) Bhanupada Chakrobortyalong with Additional SP Biplab Deb, SDPO Sudip Pal and OC Swapan Sarkar rushed to the spot and recovered the body of Sushankar Majumder.

As part of the investigation to the case dog squad was brought from Agartala. However but no arrest has been made yet.
