BELONIA, May 24 (TIWN): Belonia Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (SDJM) Court on Saturday jailed one Ajoy Kumar Bhuiya, resident of Jharkhand for seven years and fined him Rs. 5000 failing another jail for six months under Child Protection and sexual offence act.
Bhuiya, resident of Jharkahnd was accused of raping a minor girl of 4 years while she was sleeping in labour house at Belonia Haripur Brick industry on March 25, 2014. Getting an alarm of the incident the brick kiln manager along with others detained him and handed over with the Belonia Hrishyamukh police station.
Police arrested him on the very day of the incident took place. Sub-Inspector Bimal Baidya was investigating the case. Accused Bhuiya on March 25 entered the house of the concerned labours of the brick kiln and raped 4 years old minor who was sleeping inside.
Later the girl who was suffering from a severe pain was found blood shredded inside the room. She is a daughter of a brick kiln labour Sumana Urang. Her mother left her slept inside the room and went for a work.
However, on Saturday the court hearing the case send the accused to seven years jail and fined him Rs. 5000.
