AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): As per the audit of the year 2014-15 DQ-CMR (Data quest-Cyber Media Research), National Institute of Agartala (NIT) has been placed among the top 20 Technical institutions in India.

IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur have secured the first and second position among the top 20 National Technical Instittutions including IIT / NITs in country. This information of the audit is also published in the May issue of the Dataquest magazine for the year 2015.

The audit is done on the basis of the placement structure, infrastructure of the institute, industry interface, and human resource inside the campus of the NIT Agartala. It was seen that NIT Agartala has made remarkable development in all the spheres. As per the survey, it was seen that 75 percent of the student got their placements in some of the esteem organizations of the country and some of them are also engaged with international firms.  The Institution has also got outstanding response in the field of research study.

Professor Gopal Mugeraya of NIT Agartala has also expressed his gratitude to the entire faculty member, the administration department, and former as well as present student for this success of the institute.

He has also termed this success as a milestone in the history of NIT Agartala.
