AGARTALA, May 22 (TIWN): 4 rooms were burnt into ashes when fire broke out in the house of Jaganath Debnath on Friday at Joy Guru under East police station.
According to police, primary investigation says that the fire sparked of from electric short circuit in the house. The fire broke out at around 1 to 1.30 PM; no casualty or injury was reported from the incident, a police man on an official duty confirmed later.
The police officials further added, the fire has destroyed a huge amount of accessories inside the house. So far proper statistics of loss is not yet reported.
However, getting alarm, East police station personnel, along with four fire service crew rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
No issue of casualty is reported so far and further investigation is going on, added police personnel.
