AGARTALA, May 10 (TIWN): Tripura Medical College (TMC) guardian forum on Sunday organised 1st annual felicitation of the students of TMC and Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital.

Health Minister Badal Chowdhury has inaugurated the programme on Sunday at Agartala Jaksha Nivarani Hall.

However the guardian forum of TMC has recently held a discussion meeting among their representatives taking up certain issues related to their demands.

Their demands includes all classrooms and library of the TMC should be air conditioned without delay, supply of water for 24 hours in hostels which’s work is under progress, subsidised students canteen, separate hostels for internees and others.

It is to be mentioned here that amongst those demands some of the works are under progress and would be completed very soon.

The forum had also requested the Principal of TMC to consider the issue including waiving of fine for a certain justified period.
