BELONIA/AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): BSF (Border Security Force) DIG B S Tolia and Commandant of 89th battalion of BSF Sanjoy Kumar were accorded warm farewell at Belonia Public Library on Monday. After rendering 3 years of unblemished and distinguished services in Tripura, DIG B S Tolia will leave the state on May 6.
Dishari (NGO) and Belonia Municipal Council had organized an impressive function to bid farewell to the outgoing officers. While speaking on the occasion, MLA Bashudeb Majumder described DIG B S Tolia as a very honest and dedicated BSF officer who has been serving the department efficiently and honestly.
Bashudeb Majumder said that DIG B S Tolia always delivered his services ensuring quick disposal of work and performed up to the expectations of his seniors. He wished him smooth sailing and a path full of blessings in future.
Speaking on the occasion DIG B S Tolia thanked staff members and teams for their continuous support that they provided during his tenure in Tripura.
It is to be mentioned here that BSF (Border Security Forces) troopers have seized and destroyed drugs and cannabis plants valued at Rs.20 crore along the India-Bangladesh border in Tripura in the year 2015 till date.
