AGARTALA, April 26 (TIWN): Two aftershock earthquake hits Tripura on Sunday. The earthquake measuring 4.5 on Richter scale shook most of the parts of the state on 10:28 AM, while another earthquake shook the state on 12:48 PM at 5.6 on Richter scale.
However there is no report of causalities or damage of property. The met officials said that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Nepal.
Met official stated after any high intensity earthquake has the probability of lot of moderate aftershock around the epicenter. The aftershock is for settling the earth and deep earth plates, this located during any high intensity tremor.
on Saturday a major intensity earthquake measuring 7.7 on Richter scale shook most parts of northeastern states and Nepal, Myanmar and Bangladesh. As many as 1,500 people died in Nepal and 32 dies in India and caused a series damage of the properties.
