KHOWAI, April 23 (TIWN): To maintain peace, stability and to protect property of people District Magistrate (DM) of Khowai district imposed section 144 around 500 meter area of Indo - Bangla International Border.
In the order District Magistrate (DM) said that no person will be allowed to move in 500 meter area of Indo - Bangla international border since 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The order imposed on April 11 and it will continue up to June 9, 2015.
However the order will not be applicable to Army, Para -Military force and State Police who are engaged in maintaining law and order.
Besides the order will not be applicable who will have the valid permission from DM or SDM. The order will not be applicable for government employees who are appointed for performing urgent government duty. The persons will be accused by section 188 of IPC who will disobey the order.
