UDAIPUR, April 13 (TIWN): A massive road mishap on Sunday afternoon at Parati area under R.K. Pur Police Station, left four seriously injured and all the injured persons were immediately shifted to Gomati District Hospital.
According to sources, the incident took place while one bike moving towards Sabroom to Udaipur collided head on with a bicycle which was coming from the opposite direction.
As a result, all the four injured persons including the bicycle rider were injured seriously namely Harzar Ali the bike rider, Gautam Sarkar and Mamon Hussian the pillion riders. And the name of the bicycle rider is Ajoy Das (20).
After getting the information police personnel from R.K. Pur Police Station rushed to the spot and immediately shifted all the four injured persons to Gomati District Hospital where in the attending doctors said that the condition of the patients are critical.
According to official report, altogether 2581 road mishaps occurred in the last three financial years including 901 road accidents in the financial year 2012 12, 855 accidents in the year 2013 14 and 363 more road mishaps in the year 2014 till date.
In a separate incident one student of Udaipur KVS was dashed by a bike rider at Jaganath Chowmuhani on Sunday. The student was immediately shifted to Gomati District Hospital where in the attending doctors said that the condition of the student was stable.
The bike rider managed to flee away from the spot after the incident. A specific case has been registered in this regard and a hunt is on to arrest the accused bike rider, said police.
