AGARTALA, February 16 (TIWN): Tripura Journalist Union (TJU) state conference is scheduled to be held on March 1. 2015 at Agartala Press Club. Journalist Union All India President cum Press Council of India member S N Sinha will inaugurate the conference on the very day.

 An extended body meeting was held at Agartala Press Club recently in wake of the state conference of the Tripura Journalist Union.  11 members preparatory committee was constituted to succeed the state conference slated to start on March 1, 2015.

However, beside All India Union Secretary Gitartha Padhok will remain present at the state conference as a chief guest. Meanwhile another meeting of TJU would be held at Agartala Press Club on February 22.

It is to be mentioned here that the state conference of the Tripura Journalist Union is expected to take a decision about framing new divisional and sub divisional committee.
