Agartala, February 14 (TIWN): Two-day long central committee convention of Tripura Government Employees’ Association (TGEA) was inaugurated at the Vivekananda Auditorium in Umakanta Academy here today.
Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC)- Dr. Ranjit Debbarma inaugurated the meeting by lighting ceremonial lamp in presence of other dignitaries.
During the meeting, the secretarial report was presented by the general secretary of TGEA- Mahuya Roy and treasurer of the organization- Mridul Roy has presented the expenditure report.
In the inaugural session, the welcome address was delivered by the joint convener of the preparatory committee- Pijush Kanti Datta and vote of thanks was given by the joint convener of the preparatory committee- Manik Sarkar.
During the central committee meeting, several problems, achievements and proposals of TGEA’s local committees will be discussed by the concerned authority respectively. The closing session of the convention will be held tomorrow.
