AGARTALA, Sep 29 (TIWN): The lifeless body of 70-year-old Rasul Miya was recovered from a pond near Hafazia Mura Bidyapeeth Satya Niketan Primary School in North Chhirlam GP under Bishalgarh police station.

Rasul Miya went missing on Monday morning, prompting a search operation by family members, relatives, and neighbors in the nearby Sipahi Jola forest. At around 2 pm, they found his body hanging from a tree branch with a rope around his neck.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, with the family members overcome with grief. The local authorities have been informed, and further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding Rasul Miya's death.
