AGARTALA, Sep 9 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, while addressing at the Golden Jubilee Year Celebration of Govt College of Art & Craft at Govt. Art & Craft on Tuesday appealed for a self-dependency mindset, which he said has to be developed with changing times. CM further advised the professionals to get involved in social work, politics to expand their networking.

CM also appealed for "Vocal for Local," asking, "Why will Tripura-made products not be purchased by Tripura people ?"

The importance of being self-reliant can not be ignored, advising the college authority to organize events, inviting people to showcase the art students' creativity.
