AGARTALA, Aug 17 (TIWN): The pre-Durga Puja fervor has begun in Tripura today as Manasa puja observation has started with devotions house to house. As the Goddess of wisdom and intellect, Ma Manasa Puja, is celebrated across the state, the excitement for Durga Puja is palpable.

Interestingly, Manasa Puja is observed approximately two months before Durga Puja, which falls on September 28 this year and will continue till October 2. Viswakarma Puja, on the other hand, is celebrated a month after Manasa Puja, on September 17.

With Durga Puja just around the corner, pandals are already being set up, and the festival atmosphere is building up.

Sellers are optimistic about profits, and the Manasa Puja market has been buzzing with activity over the past few days, with idols of Ma Manasa being sold. The festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm, house to house, across Tripura
