AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): A voluntary blood donation camp was organized by Bairagi Bazar Ramthakur Seba Mandir under Jumer Dhepa Gram Panchayat in Nalchar RD Block. State Minister for Higher Education and Panchayat, Kishore Barman, inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. The Minister praised the initiative taken by the Ramthakur Seba Mandir Ashram authority and emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating that blood can only be obtained through donation and not manufactured in any factory.

The Minister appealed to everyone to come forward for voluntary blood donation, assuring that there is nothing to fear. He also highlighted the significance of blood donation in saving lives.

The camp was attended by Jumer Tepa Gram Panchayat Pradhan Bijali Debnath, Upapradhan Goutam Pal, Ramthakur Ashram Secretary Swapan Lal Dutta, Gaurang Bonik, and Biswajit Debnath, among others.

The Minister's message resonated with the audience, encouraging them to participate in blood donation drives.
