AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, on Saturday, while addressing a blood donation camp in Agartala, mentioned that Tripura’s growth rate indicates how Tripura is developing.
CM was addressing a gathering at Arabinda Sangha’s blood donation drive program on the occasion of Rishi Arabinda’s birth anniversary, marking the foundation day of the club.
“Today, if we look at the parameters, Tripura has the second-highest per capita income in the Northeast. We rank third in the entire nation,” he added.
“Northeast has big states as Assam and Tripura still ranks in the second position. This is called growth,” said CM.
The chief minister further praised Prime Minister Modi for his leadership that has taken India to fourth position in economic growth.
