AGARTALA, Aug 14 (TIWN): A road accident occurred on the Bishalgarh Bypass road, leaving an ambulance driver injured.

The driver, Abdul Jalil Hossain, was returning home after completing his duty at the Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital when a Maruti car collided with his bike and fled the scene.

The Bishalgarh Fire Department team rushed to the spot and rescued the injured driver, taking him to the hospital for treatment. The ambulance driver is currently undergoing treatment at the Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital.
