MELAGHAR, Aug 14 (TIWN): In a significant anti-narcotics operation, Melaghar Police Station, led by OC Jayanta Das, destroyed 6,000 marijuana saplings in a nursery at Chhundul Kunkiyachhara. The raid was conducted based on a tip-off, and the saplings were planted on government land.
The operation was carried out in collaboration with SI Ram Kishan and TSR personnel.
The OC vowed to continue the crackdown on narcotics in the area, stating that any information about marijuana cultivation would be acted upon swiftly. This operation highlights the police's efforts to curb the cultivation and distribution of narcotics in the region, ensuring a safer community.
