AGARTALA, Aug 10 (TIWN): A shocking incident has rocked Tripura as a mother has been accused of killing her five-month-old daughter by allegedly pressing a pillow on her face. Day after a police official was accused by his wife of poisoning his daughter, one more such disturbing news has been reported in the state.
Allegation was raised against a woman for killing her five-month-old daughter by pressing a pillow on her face. This disturbing incident happened at Rampada ADC village, under Sonamura subdivision.
According to allegation, Suchitra Debbarma, W/O-Amit Debbarma, was allegedly having a love affair with a neighbor (TIWN did not verify the information).
This was the root cause of Amit Debbarma’s family’s daily fight. As a result of the daily arguments, the woman allegedly killed her own daughter, as an expression of taking revenge on her husband.
Police have taken the baby’s dead body for post-mortem after lodging a suo-moto case.
