AGARTALAM July 28 (TIWN): Two women, Rosma Begum (35), resident of Bishalgarh, and Kulsum Begum (25), resident of Madhupur, were arrested police with 95.5 grams of brown sugar from Bankumari area in Agartala. East Agartala police conducted the operation based on secret information and successfully arrested these two women with 95.5 grams of drugs. SP West Kiran Kumar told the media that in a total of 9 containers, these drugs were found with the women, and the market value of the seized items would be around Rs. 10 to Rs. 15 lakhs.
NDPS cases have been registered against both arrestees. Two cellphones have also been seized from the women.
Through investigations, police are expecting to reveal more information about the network and trace those who are actually behind the operation.
