AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): Panic gripped after miscreants attacked BJP office in Asharambari, when the party members gathered to attend the virtual program of Prime Minister Modi’s Mann-Ki-Baat on Sunday.
Apparently, BJP’s ally Tipra Motha was blamed for the incident, but no statement has yet been released by the BJP party.
According to information collected on the ground, many BJP members were injured in the incident.
The miscreants vandalized BJP leaders’ vehicles. Multiple vehicles were seen affected by the violence.
The incident happened amid the BJP's attempt to strengthen its organizational structure on the hills ahead of ADC election, which is scheduled to be held in 2026.
