AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Thursday named IPFT party first and then Tipra Motha while attending Janajati Chintan Baithak meeting at State Guest House. A Janajati Chintan Baithak (meeting regarding tribal welfare at party level) was hosted in the presence of CM Dr. Manik Saha, former MP Rebati Tripura, BJP State President Rajib Bhattacharjee, former Minister Rampada Jamatia, and others.
Even though it was not said officially, but his meeting marked the start of ADC poll’s preparation, which is scheduled to be held next year.
Addressing the media, CM said this meeting is often held by the BJP where the party discusses various issues about the tribal community and exchanges ideas, opinions.
“BJP always thinks about Janajati-development. IPFT party is also with BJP and Motha is there too --- who think about the community’s development,” he said.
CM further mentioned, the meeting will also shed light on what PM Modi has done so far for the Janajati as well as for the nation. “Under PM Narendra Modi, the country has seen a new direction of development,” said CM.
CM was seen celebrating with the community, playing drums in honor of the community’s people and its tradition.
