AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while addressing in an awareness campaign against drugs said that this issue has been troubling the whole country.

He mentioned, the drug-seizure rates in Tripura have increased due to the police's operations in recent times.
"The drug starts as a medium of happiness, or you can call it euphoria. Then gradually it turned a habit and the habit turns into addiction," he said.
The chief minister has appealed to the people to come forward, be brave, and quit addiction.
"In fact, I hear so many times within the party-- people saying, today we have to enjoy... but that enjoyment should not lead to sorrows."
