According to Sub-Divisional Health Officer Dr. Subrata Das, the incident occurred after the family members consumed the watermelon. While the exact cause of the illness is yet to be determined due to the absence of leftover watermelon for testing, it is suspected to be a case of food poisoning. The condition of the patients is currently stable.

 

The incident has sparked panic in the area, with people becoming cautious about consuming watermelon. The authorities are investigating the matter further.
