Banamalipur, July 12 (TIWN): Residents of Bhagaban Thakur Chowmuhani and surrounding areas have been facing a prolonged power outage.

Despite repeated requests to the electricity department, the issue remained unresolved.

The situation worsened when a truck from Assam collided with an electricity pole late last night, causing the power to go out. The residents were left without electricity for the entire night, causing immense inconvenience.

The electricity department has now started repair work, and the team arrived at the site early this morning to fix the damaged pole. However, locals are demanding a more permanent solution to the recurring power issues in the area.
