According to the victim, she was on her way from her elder son's house to her younger son's house when the incident occurred. The youths stopped her, held a sharp knife to her throat, and snatched the chain from her neck. The robbers fled the scene before locals could intervene.

 

The police were immediately informed, and a search operation was launched, but the culprits could not be caught. Locals have demanded that the police administration take strict action to curb such incidents, which have been on the rise in the area.
