AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Amid BJP’s celebration of two years governance under Dr. Manik Saha, an opposition party member’s house was set on fire by miscreants at Kalyan Sen Para, in Usha Bazar.
The houseowner Kajal Sengupta blamed the BJP party for causing this nuisance, alleging, recently his rubber garden was also burnt by miscreants.
Sengupta said, he was targeted politically and this time, his house damage caused him a loss of over Rs. 20 lakhs.
The incident has triggered heavy tension in the locality. Local CPI-M leaders visited the victim’s home.
