CPI-M Party worker's home set on fire

AGARTALA, Feb 2 (TIWN): A CPI-M party worker’s house was attacked by unknown miscreants, and CPI-M has blamed the BJP behind the attack.
Miscreants set fire to the CPI-M party member fully destroying the home.
The incident happened in Barjala constituency’s Gorkhabasti area resident Narayan Debnath’s house.
CPI-M state secretary Jitendra Chowdhury visited the victim’s home on Sunday, along with local MLA Sudip Sarkar and talked to the family.
Nayaran Debnath a former army official, joined the party after retirement.
According to CPI-M, it’s not the first time that the family of Narayan Debnath’s e has been attacked but since 2018 state election result declaration which brought BJP to power, severe attacks have been systematized on this family.
